(TEXT: 1 John 4:4)
Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
FOCUS :
Sometimes we might not look exactly who we truly are in our appearances; but the trust is, we cannot be underestimated both physically and spiritually. The little Lion might look small outside, but the spirit lying inside of that small Lion can never be confronted even by some matured animals in the jungle. Yes, you might consider yourself to be small outwardly, but it will amazes you that you are not inwardly. The tricks of the devil is to be seeing yourself as inferior, unqualified, tat, undeserved, ridiculous, invaluable and incapable: but don’t allow those thoughts to define you, because you are stronger than that.
1 Corinthians 1:25
Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.
In addition, however, what is inside of you will determines how special and stronger you are. If you are a child of God and God is living inside of you, you will always become a champion. And of course, when you give yourself to the devil, you will also become a powerful fellow indeed; however, you can’t compare “authority to just ordinary power.” God rules with authority, while the devil influence you with power.
Luke 15:15-20 And he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country; and he sent him into his fields to feed swine. And he would fain have filled his belly with the husks that the swine did eat: and no man gave unto him. And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father’s have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger! I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee, And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants. And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.
Finally, you are not alone in the journey of life, God is with you and He is living in you. The power of this world is limited with this world and the authority of God, is very superior. God will not live in a sinner, so that means, if you are a sinner, God will be far away from you. If you want God to make you an overcomer and you want Him to live inside of you, start living holy, and peacefully with the people around you.
Romans 12:18
If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.
2 Corinthians 13:11
Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you.
