(TEXT : John 15:5)
I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
FOCUS :
JESUS is our master, mentor, leader, hope and our mediator. Without Jesus Christ in the journey of your life, brother and sister; you are only heading to condemnation. Yes, you might be prosperous in all your ways, and be wealthy in many ways; but the plain truth is without Jesus in your life, you are “lifelines and your existing is meaningless. Jesus is not on the market for sales, but He is the only goods you will need anytime you go for a shopping.
John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
In addition, without the tree (Jesus ), there is absolutely nothing to be called the branches (you and I): because the tree produces the branches, the branches produces the leafs and fruits. However, if the branches do not stay connected to the tree (Jesus), it is just a matter of time, the branches will dry up and fell off from the tree. So the more you stay connected as branches to the tree (Jesus), the more you will be bringing forth the fruits from the tree (Jesus) for the whole world to receive from you.
Matthew 5:13-16 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
Finally, the more you associate your yourself and your family with the tree (Jesus), the more the world around you will be attracted to your “fruits” that will always come out at the right season for those who needs (salvation) to eat from the fruits. The fruits (the Word of God) on the tree are not only meant for you alone, they are also for sinners who are just passing by. Feed them with your fruits which is also the world of God.
John 15:6-7 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
