(TEXT : Jeremiah 29:13)
And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.
FOCUS :
God is not hard to find once your heart is in a right order with Him. Many at times because our hearts are filled with all kinds of activities, we might not be able to hear when God is speaking to us. For you to find God, you must have to seek God first. If you don’t seek God in His Word, prayers and fasting; you can’t find Him anywhere.
Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
In addition, God has made Himself so low that we can communicate and connect with Him; but we must show interest in seeking Him with our humble hearts. For you to find God, you also need to have a heart like God, love like God and be ready to give like God. So many people are seeking for God but they will never find Him, because their hearts are desperate full of evil towards others.
Proverbs 4:23
Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.
Jeremiah 17:9
The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Finally, the hearts of men are always full of evil, and because of that to seek God it is always very difficult thing to do. When your heart is pure towards your fellow brothers and sisters that are around you, it will be easy to find God when you seek Him. You can’t seek God when your heart is raging with hates towards your brothers and sisters that you can see. God is not respecter of persons, when your heart is pure, you will seek Him and you will find Him. But when your heart is full of evil, God will be far away from you.
1 John 2:9-11 He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now. He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him. But he that hateth his brother is in darkness, and walketh in darkness, and knoweth not whither he goeth, because that darkness hath blinded his eyes.
