(TEXT : Deuteronomy 12:27)
And thou shalt offer thy burnt offerings, the flesh and the blood, upon the altar of the LORD thy God: and the blood of thy sacrifices shall be poured out upon the altar of the LORD thy God, and thou shalt eat the flesh.
FOCUS :
Yesterday, we spoke about the blood of Jesus, His body, and Jesus’ riches. From the above scripture this point to the fact as to why the blood is sacred. The “Altar” represented the Cross, and the “blood” typified the poured out Life of the Son of God, who gave Himself for the Redemption of humanity. Original sin passes down to man the blood, which is the life of the flesh; consequently, entirety of the human race is polluted and sick with sin. The only remedy, and thank God there is a remedy, is the shed Blood of Jesus Christ, whose Blood was Perfect, because He was not born of natural procreation, but was conceived in the womb of Mary by the decree if the Holy Spirit; as well, He lived a Perfect, unsullied, unspotted Life, totally without sin. Therefore, He could go to the Cross as a Perfect Sacrifice, and when His Blood was shed, it atoned for all sin, past, present, and future, at least for all who will believe.
Ephesians 2:12-18 That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us; Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace; And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby: And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh. For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.
In addition, we also spoke about the riches of Jesus Christ, how He was rich and because of you and I, He suddenly became poor, that through His poverty, we might be living in abundance. The duty of every fathers is for him to be able to provide for every members of his household. And for you to be able to provide for your household, you need sources of income. And when we talk about sources of income, we are talking about sure “INVESTMENT.” Jesus describe all His other businesses in parables, but for His business in fish farming, He made it overt; that He Himself was into fish farming business.
Matthew 17:27 Notwithstanding, lest we should offend them, go thou to the sea, and cast an hook, and take up the fish that first cometh up; and when thou hast opened his mouth, thou shalt find a piece of money: that take, and give unto them for me and thee.
This was a sure business that Jesus has built long before he came into this world for His earthly ministry. And in heaven, it is explicit that He had put things in order in heaven. And He knew He will be needing money for His earthly ministry, so people are in the business making sure it is running perfectly; even while He was here on earth fishing men for the kingdom of God. There is fish farming business in heaven that keep pumping money into the world currency bank account for the earthly fisher men ministry to run smoothly.
1 Corinthians 1:18
For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.
1 Corinthians 1:21
For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.
Finally, today, let talk about His sufferings. Do you know that Jesus suffered humiliation because of you? Do know that He was rejected because of you? Do you know that was He beaten up with 39 stroke for your sake? Do you know that He crowned with shame for your sake? Do you know that He was crucified on the Cross for your sake? As much as you know cold and hot in your body, Jesus felt the same way while He was here on earth; He knew what it means to be hungry and thirsty. He never sinned but Him alone carries all the sins of the whole world on Himself to the Cross to be nailed. For your sake, people called Him all kinds of horrible names. Who else can suffer for your sake like Jesus did? He have it all, but instead, humbled Himself for all. Jesus suffered all for you, thank Him for that.
John 10:18 No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.
Hebrews 2:18
For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted.
Hebrews 5:8
Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered;
Hebrews 9:26
For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.

For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:

For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:
