I AM MORE THAN ABLE IN CHRIST!

(TEXT : Philippians 4:13)
I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

FOCUS :

With men many things are impossible, and with money you can’t buy all things. There are some limit to what men can do in the journey of your life, there is also part you need to play in your path; and of course, God has a significant role to demonstrate in your daily life. No man can fit in, in the position where God belong in your life, and not even you, yourself.

In addition, so, if you say: “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me”: you are literally saying, “where my own power has failed me and where the help of men around me becomes impossible; then only Jesus is my source of strength and power.” Men can fail you and you can as well be disappointed in yourself, but the moment you acknowledge “you can’t do anything without the strength and power of Christ in you”; then Christ will draw Himself to you and take your weakness upon Himself and give you strength.

Colossians 2:2 That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ;

Finally, acknowledge wherever you are “weak” in your life, and let Christ come in to supply you strength. Every powerful men and women (both diabolic or from God) have the source in which they draw their “strength and power” from, what about you, who is your source of strength and power? Truly you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you; but do you belong to Christ and does Christ Himself know you? It’s easy to call the Name Jesus Christ times without number, but if you are not identified with that Name, “sorry is your first and last name.” It is not about you knowing the Name, it is about your relationship and fellowship with that Name that will provide you results when you call on Him.

2 Samuel 3:1 Now there was long war between the house of Saul and the house of David: but David waxed stronger and stronger, and the house of Saul waxed weaker and weaker.

2 Chronicles 15:7 Be ye strong therefore, and let not your hands be weak: for your work shall be rewarded.

Job 4:3 Behold, thou hast instructed many, and thou hast strengthened the weak hands.

JUST BELIEVE IN GOD!

(TEXT : Mark 9:23)
Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.

FOCUS :

There are absolutely nothing that is impossible with God, when you believed in Him. The only impossible with any children of God is when you are “unbeliever.” Now, “unbelievers” are in two ways: the first group of unbelievers are those who are genuinely SAVED, but they are full of doubt, unbelief, stingy, unforgivness and fear; with this kind of mindset, you as a believer in this category, you can’t receive from God. Because although, you are “saved, but you don’t have intimacy relationship with God.”

Hebrews 4:6 Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief:

In addition, the second group of believers are those who are not saved by salvation: but they are full of boldness, understood the law of giving, charity, kind towards even the so called “genuine believers.” God is not respecter of persons! If you call yourself a “genuine saved fellow” but you are full of doubt, unbelief, stingy, and fear; you can’t enjoy the possibility from God, because you lack FAITH to carry what God can do or perform through you.

Matthew 13:58 And he did not many mighty works there because of their unbelief.

Matthew 17:20 And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

Romans 11:20 Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear:

Finally, some of the reasons that makes the unbelievers to be “richer” than the believers for instance, are simply because they believe God with all their minds, souls, spirits; even if it’s look very hard to believe and impossible to humans understanding. But for the genuine believers, even though they claimed that they believe in God, yet, they are full of doubt, fear, stinginess, unforgivness and unbelief.

Numbers 20:5 And wherefore have ye made us to come up out of Egypt, to bring us in unto this evil place? it is no place of seed, or of figs, or of vines, or of pomegranates; neither is there any water to drink.

In fact, it was a difficult place for the children of Israel at that time in the wilderness! However, the Lord led them here because He loved them. He desired to reveal to them His inexhaustible resources, that is, if they would only believe. It is the same with us presently! Everything is a test. How will you respond.

ONLY THE HELP FROM ABOVE IS SURE!

(TEXT : Psalms 108:12)
Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man.

FOCUS :

Only the help from God is sure and it is everlasting. The best way man can get help in the time of need, is to look up to God for help; God will never disappoint you. It is good to ask for help from men, but try not to depend on men when you have God on your side.

Isaiah 30:7 For the Egyptians shall help in vain, and to no purpose: therefore have I cried concerning this, Their strength is to sit still.

In addition, when God help you or sent you an helper, your bondage will become freedom. The children of Israel has been in bondage for 400 hundred years, but from the day they cried out for help “from God” not the gods of Egypt; from that day God intervened and their bondage became freedom.

Exodus 2:23-25 And it came to pass in process of time, that the king of Egypt died: and the children of Israel sighed by reason of the bondage, and they cried, and their cry came up unto God by reason of the bondage. And God heard their groaning, and God remembered his covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob. And God looked upon the children of Israel, and God had respect unto them.

Finally, the people who look for help in God’s direction, will always not be put to shame. However, if you want God to help you, you can be of help to God too. Your hands are not given to you by mistake, use them wisely; your legs are not joined to your body by mistake, go everywhere and start preaching the gospel; your mouth is not mistakenly positioned in your body, use it to speak positive and good things into other people’s lives. God’s help come to those who seek for it and not those who takes it for granted.

1 Samuel 2:30 Wherefore the LORD God of Israel saith, I said indeed that thy house, and the house of thy father, should walk before me for ever: but now the LORD saith, Be it far from me; for them that honour me I will honour, and they that despise me shall be lightly esteemed.

In other words, this verse of the Holy Bible is saying: all those who needs God’s help, will He render His help to; and all those who thinks He does not exist, they will suffer in the hands of their enemies while He watch them from afar. If you are a sinner, God wants to help you, but are willing to surrender yourself to God so that He can help you? You are a drug addict, masturbating, lesbian, bestiality, homosexual, rapper, abortion etc. you need help from God and not from medical and let Him help you.

Matthew 11:28-30 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

LET GOD PROMOTE YOU!

(TEXT : Psalms 75:6)
For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south.

FOCUS :

Promotion is very good and it’s very important for one to be promoted; i.e. from post to another, from one stage to another and from one level to another. However, any promotion that comes from men, will always be restricted by men; while the one that comes from the above rules over all. Men can promote you indeed, but the same men will bring you down whenever he feels like. Nothing in this world is ever permanent though, therefore, if men gives a promotion, it is for a temporary.

Psalms 60:11 Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man.

In addition, God will not ask you for anything, yet, your promotion is guaranteed, provided you are on the Lord’s side. Sometimes, it might feels like you have been neglected, but the truth is: you are not. The reason or reasons you might see yourself not been promoted yet, it could be that it’s not yet your time or you are not on the Lord’s side. “Though it might tarry, but wait patiently for it, for it will surely come to pass.” The promotion from God is sure, and it will never put you into trouble.

Habakkuk 2:3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.

Finally, the Antichrist will claim great things. In actuality, he will be able to do nothing, at least that is lasting. As well, if it is to be noticed, the “north” is not mentioned, proclaiming the fact that promotion does come from north, which has to do with the direction of Heaven and, consequently, the Throne of God. Regrettably, men, in the modern Church, look to other men for promotion.

Psalms 75:7 But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another.

They little remember that “God is the judge.” In effect, God is saying that He is the One who will “lift up horn,” not men. If man does such, it will only breed pride. If God does such, it breeds humility. In the strict interpretation of this verses, it means that the Lord will “put down” the Antichrist, and “set up” the Lord Jesus Christ.

GOD HATES REBELLION (PART 3)!

(TEXT : Proverbs 17:11)
An evil man seeketh only rebellion: therefore a cruel messenger shall be sent against him.

FOCUS :

Rebellion it’s not a friend any believer can befriend, but rather, it’s an enemy that every believers must avoid.

Numbers 16:10 And he hath brought thee near to him, and all thy brethren the sons of Levi with thee: and seek ye the priesthood also?

The “Priesthood” of Israel of old was a type of Christ. Everything they did symbolized Christ in His Mediatorial, Intercessory, or Atoming work. The Lord had given specific instructions as to how the entirety of the Sacrificial system was to be carried out. So, in effect, these rebels were pushing Christ aside. That is the sin of the modern Church. While the unredeemed world attempts to create another god, the church, sadly, attempt to create another Sacrifice. Only the sacrifice of Christ is acceptable. Anyone or anything else, no matter know religious it might be, can never be accepted by God.

In addition, Numbers 16:14 Moreover thou hast not brought us into a land that floweth with milk and honey, or given us inheritance of fields and vineyards: wilt thou put out the eyes of these men? we will not come up.

This refused to recognize that they were still in the wilderness because of their unbelief. Being condemned to (38 years) of wandering in that wilderness was their fault, and not the fault of Moses and Aaron. Men forever attempt to blame their circumstances on other, instead of where it rightfully belong

Finally, we have come to the end of this series today. Rebellion against the people God has placed over you: it’s as a result of you rebelling against God Himself. As I conclude on this series, let me tell you this, rebellion it’s a terrible spirit and it’s can easily sperate you from the love and the blessings God has for you.

Numbers 16:40 To be a memorial unto the children of Israel, that no stranger, which is not of the seed of Aaron, come near to offer incense before the LORD; that he be not as Korah, and as his company: as the LORD said to him by the hand of Moses.

Unfortunately, under the New Covenant, many are presently commiting the sin of Korah. They are substituting a government of their own making; however, they must remember, as the Cross is the means of all blessings, at the same time, it is also the means of all judgement.

GOD HATES REBELLION (PART 2)!

(TEXT : 1 Samuel 15:23)
For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king.

FOCUS :

We are going to be continued from where we stopped yesterday on this series. Yesterday we established the fact that the generation of Korah, Dathan and Abiram ganged up against the authority of God in the life of Moses and ganged up against the High Priesthood of Christ Jesus through the life of Aaron. Rebellion it’s a terrible spirit that when it possessed a man or a women, it will only take the mercy of God for he or she not be doomed.

Numbers 16:11 For which cause both thou and all thy company are gathered together against the LORD: and what is Aaron, that ye murmur against him?

Let it ever be known, when we pervert the Word of the Lord, this put us “against the Lord”: and Moses was even trying to say that, Aaron is just a poor, weak human being, attempting to carry out the Work of the Lord. While they thought they were opposed to Aaron, in truth, they were opposed to the Lord. When we oppose that which is of God, we have, in essence, opposed God.

In addition, we could see explicitly that this three generations ultimately and deliberately brought the wrath of God upon their innocent children and families by the reason of their wrong actions. They rebelled against the leadership of men that God Himself sent to them who are (God’s representatives) in their midst; and even rebelled against God that they can’t see who sent those representatives to instruct them, direct them, guide them, lead them and to bring them to the Promised Land.

Finally, Numbers 16:6-7 This do; Take you censers, Korah, and all his company; And put fire therein, and put incense in them before the LORD to morrow: and it shall be that the man whom the LORD doth choose, he shall be holy: ye take too much upon you, ye sons of Levi.

The “ensers” were used by the Priest, and especially the High Priest, at it regarded the Holy Place. Where the Table, the Lampstand, and the Altar of Incense were. They spoke of the Intercession of Christ, on all behalf of Believers. So in effect, these individuals were claiming they could serve in this capacity the same as Aaron. They should have remembered what happened to Nadab and Abihu. To sure, their sin was even worse than that of these tow Priests, who had been stricken dead by the Lord. Rebellious man, however, always seeks to put a religious face on his erroneous direction.

Leviticus 10:1-2 And Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, took either of them his censer, and put fire therein, and put incense thereon, and offered strange fire before the LORD, which he commanded them not. And there went out fire from the LORD, and devoured them, and they died before the LORD.

GOD HATES REBELLION (PART 1)!

(TEXT : Numbers 16:1)
Now Korah, the son of Izhar, the son of Kohath, the son of Levi, and Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, and On, the son of Peleth, sons of Reuben, took men:

FOCUS :

In the next few days we want to talk about how seriously God hates anyone with the spirit of rebellion to Him. Rebellion as it’s sound, it’s a terrible sin on its own and which can make God to destroy a person, family or a nation. We will be using the story of Kohrath, Dathan and Abiram as our case study in this series. From the very verse one of the Numbers chapter 16: this reveals the incurable evil of the human heart. It is naturally opposed to God, and all that pertains to God. As evidenced by the rebellion of Korah. Korah was first cousin, it seems, to Moses and Aaron. He was camped close to the Tribe of Reuben, hence their association in this rebellion. The phrase “took men” emphasize the fact that he persuaded them as to his cause.

In addition, Numbers 16:2 And they rose up before Moses, with certain of the children of Israel, two hundred and fifty princes of the assembly, famous in the congregation, men of renown:

God chose Aaron ti be High Priest, Korah “gainsayed” that, which means that he disputed God’s choice of Aaron as High Priest. As well, the Princess if Reuben attacked the kingship given to Moses by God. The spirit, therefore, of this rebellion was to cast down the Blessed one – Christ – whom God has appointed both King and Priest. Korah and those who followed him attempted to change the government of God, which has always been the crowning sin of the church, whether the church before the Cross, or the church after the Cross. God’s Word is His government. To stray from that Word at all, which Korah did, is to instigate rebellion against the Lord, which God cannot countenance in any form.

Jude 1:11 Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of

Finally, Numbers 16:5 And he spake unto Korah and unto all his company, saying, Even to morrow the LORD will shew who are his, and who is holy; and will cause him to come near unto him: even him whom he hath chosen will he cause to come near unto him.

Their sin was not only rebellion against God in the normal sense of the word, but, in actuality, they were opposing the Headship of Christ. They were, in a sense, saying that there were many men in Israel whole could fill the shoes of Moses, and many who could fill shoes of Aaron as the High Priest. So, in a sense, they were not only denying the Headship of Christ, but, as well, His High Priestly Ministry. We should read these words carefully, because, in essence, we are reading here the sin of the modern Church. Rebellion and pride, are the elements that can detached one from God and destroy one completely if the fellow do not repent quickly.

PRAY TO CLAIM GOD’S BLESSINGS!

(TEXT : Isaiah 60:22)
A little one shall become a thousand, and a small one a strong nation: I the LORD will hasten it in his time.

FOCUS :

The way God sees you is different from the ways the world will see you; and the kind of blessings that God has pronounced upon you, there is absolutely nothing that can stop them from NOT coming to pass in your life. However, you need to fight for your freedom and freedom is not by “words but it’s in action.” And when I say you need to “fight”, I mean, you need to “PRAY” so that you and all your blessings won’t become a “PREY” in the hands of your enemies.

Psalms 124:6 Blessed be the LORD, who hath not given us as a prey to their teeth.

In addition, the “little one” in the above scripture refers to the “little flock” who will ultimately inherit the Kingdom of God Luke 12:32. This “little one” will give into a countless multitude Revelation 7:9. “In His time,” refers to the fixed time in God’s counsels for the final establishment of Christ’s Kingdom. If it is to noticed, it doesn’t say “in our time,” but rather “in His time,” meaning that “the time and season are in the Power of the Father,” and not in the power of the Church, etc.

Numbers 14:31 But your little ones, which ye said should be a prey, them will I bring in, and they shall know the land which ye have despised.

Acts 1:6-7 When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel? And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power.

Finally, there is power in all the promises of God, towards all His children. You will receive God’s blessings when you are part of the “little ones;” and you can demonstrate the power of God in you through “prayers.” God has declares you a “winner” even long before you were born, but you have to hold fast in the place of prayers to claim your trophy (blessings) that has your name on it.

Job 27:6 My righteousness I hold fast, and will not let it go: my heart shall not reproach me so long as I live.

1 Thessalonians 5:21 Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.

2 Thessalonians 2:15 Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle.

THE PRAYER OF A RIGHTEOUS MAN!

(TEXT : Numbers 14:19-20)
Pardon, I beseech thee, the iniquity of this people according unto the greatness of thy mercy, and as thou hast forgiven this people, from Egypt even until now. And the LORD said, I have pardoned according to thy word:

FOCUS :

The Lord pardoned the iniquity of the children of Israel only so far as stopping the judgement of total destruction. Unfortunately, they really did not ask for forgiveness, and engaged in no true Repentance. However, the prayer of the righteous man (Moses) speaks louder and went straight into the hearing ears of God on behalf of the entire children of Israel. As far as God is concerned, Moses, is the only “righteous man” that God can actually count on for the safety of the Israelites. As God made Moses god unto Pharaoh when they were in the land of Egypt, the same way Moses, is the only “worthy righteous man” standing between God and His people.

Numbers 12:7-8 My servant Moses is not so, who is faithful in all mine house. With him will I speak mouth to mouth, even apparently, and not in dark speeches; and the similitude of the LORD shall he behold: wherefore then were ye not afraid to speak against my servant Moses?

In addition, even God confirmed this about the children of Israel that they are an ingrates people. Numbers 14:11, 26-27 And the LORD said unto Moses, How long will this people provoke me? and how long will it be ere they believe me, for all the signs which I have shewed among them?
And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying, How long shall I bear with this evil congregation, which murmur against me? I have heard the murmurings of the children of Israel, which they murmur against me.

You see, many at times we have the children of Israel of old with their mindset, even in this our present time. Everything they do is to be complaining, doubting God and full of unbeliefs. And if God could say: “how long will this people provoke me”, that shows that God is unpleasant with the children of Israel. But one man that stood by them and become their first “mediator” was Moses, and God honors his prayers.

Finally, Numbers 14:22 Because all those men which have seen my glory, and my miracles, which I did in Egypt and in the wilderness, and have tempted me now these ten times, and have not hearkened to my voice;

God has been counting all their disobedience, pride, unfaithful, ungrateful, unbelief, doubt and thankful behaviors every day by day: just like you and I have been wronging God even more than ten (10) time. You see, you being religious does not mean you will definitely have relationship with God. Unfortunately, many people come to the house of worship but only few have intimacy and fellowship with God. The children of Israel were delivered by God from the land of Egypt and from the hands of Egyptians; but doubt, unbelief are still qoustioning the presence of God in their minds. Because at some point in their journey to the promise land, they only acknowledge the presence of God only when they see what they can (eat and drink); after that to them, God does not exist. For good ten times the children of Israel tempted God in their journey: first, Red Sea, Ex 14; second, Manna, Ex 15; third, Sin, Ex 16; fourth, Manna, Ex 16:20; fifth, Manna, Ex 16:27; sixth, Rephidim, Ex 17; seventh, Hereb, Ex 32; eighth, Taberah, Num 11; ninth, Kibroth, Num 11; tenth, Kadesh, Num 14. How many time have you been frustrating God, repent and God will have mercy on you.

THE LORD WILL RISE AND SCATTERED ALL HIS ENEMIES!

(TEXT: Numbers 10:35)
And it came to pass, when the ark set forward, that Moses said, Rise up, LORD, and let thine enemies be scattered; and let them that hate thee flee before thee.

FOCUS :

There are so many wolfs in the midst of the children of God, and they are terribly working against the growth of the children of God. And until God arise to scatter them in their hiding places, they will not ceased to be increasing. If God is silence does not mean, He is weak or foolish; He is only considering the fact that there are some of His own children that has turned themselves to become the enemy of God. So if God is scattering those who are labeled as God’s enemies, won’t the children of God also be among the enemies?

Psalms 130:3 If thou, LORD, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand?

In addition, we pray in our house of worship that “God should arise, and scattered all His enemies”: are we sure we are not among the enemies to be scattered? Because the enemies of God starts with envy, hatred, cheating, unfair-ruling or leading, unforgivness, malice, jealousy, hypocrisy, rebellion, heady, disobedience, pride, anger; fornication, adultery, homosexual, masturbating, lesbians, bestiality, and iconoclast etc. these can automatically migrate you from being a child of God to become an enemy of God even without you knowing it: and you will be scatter with the enemies of God when God arise.

Romans 1:27-32 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

Finally, that is why you need to double check your standard with God, if it is still right with God or you have bend from the path of righteousness. Who are the enemies of God, that God will need to scatter when He arises among the so called His children? You are in a choir department but you have lost your count on the number of abortions, you are an enemy of God; you are a prayer champion but immorality has occupied your (Spirit man), you are an enemy of God; you are a pastor but your fellowship and relationship with God has been replaced with money, pursuit of titles/positions, segregating among the folks and using the little oil of God upon your life for abominations and corruptions in the house of God: you are already an enemy of God. So if I were you, I will ask myself a “sensible question” am I an enemy of God and if God arise, won’t I also be scattered with His enemies? Because if you are found among the enemies of God, you will be destroyed; for God is not respecter of persons.

Psalms 139:23 Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts:

Acts 10:34-35 Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.
