(TEXT : Psalms 27:12)
Deliver me not over unto the will of mine enemies: for false witnesses are risen up against me, and such as breathe out cruelty.
FOCUS :
You might be surrounded with so many forces of darkness, and the forces can either be “known or unknown.” But the good news is, when God is fighting on your side, you can be rest assured that either “the known forces or unknown forces” will be moved out of your way. God does not fight half battle, He stands to defeat any battles anytime or anywhere. And interestingly, that is why one of the God’s name is called, “THE LORD OF HOST.”
1 Samuel 17:45
Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied.
In addition, however, it will always be good if God is the one fighting your battle for you, because if you are the one fighting yourself, you won’t know how to really defend yourself against all foes. And that is why no believer should allow God to deliver him or her into the hands of the enemies. For in the hands of the enemies, such believers will suffer. But under the leadership and protection from God, every believers who will allow God to fight for them, victory is certain.
Finally, unfortunately, we have all around us as believers, all manners of foes and false witness who seeks for our downfall from every now and then. But we must be very careful and be sensitive to the leading of God in all our fighting. The Psalmist understood that the only way he can have his victory permanently, is for him to surrender all his fights to God. Because when any believers is weak, that’s when God is strong. Trust in God and wait for His signal, and all will be finally well with you.
