(TEXT : Ephesians 2:2)
Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:

FOCUS :

Nobody is born a Saint and you don’t have to die sinner neither. The fact that you are at the top there today, does not mean, you will be there forever. Remember that you were once down below or perhaps, a terrible sinner? Bro, Paul acknowledge the fact that he didn’t became a Saint overnight, in fact, he admitted it that he was the chief of sinners. If you also come to the Cross humbly through Faith, you will be received into the household of the SAINTS.

1 Timothy 1:15
This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.

In addition, we all need each other in other for us to achieve the goal of the heavenly race. A pastor needs congregations that will follow Jesus Christ through him or her. A church building needs living human beings that can convert the building into a fellowship center and a place of worshipping God; and of course, the sinners needs salvation, and to receive that, the saints that has been saved should shines the light of transformations to the path of the sinners with (CHARITY).

Finally, “let he that thanks he is standing, take heed less he fall.” This was one of greatest advise Bro, Paul gave to those who are called the “Saints” and who thinks that they can never fall again into the temptations of sin. The truth of the matter is, the man called the “devil” has never for once thinks on quiting. So, why should you allow him to keep using you to disobey God?

1 Corinthians 8:9
But take heed lest by any means this liberty of yours become a stumblingblock to them that are weak.

1 Corinthians 10:12
Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.

Galatians 5:15
But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another.

(TEXT : Proverbs 21:10)
The soul of the wicked desireth evil: his neighbour findeth no favour in his eyes.

FOCUS :

In the journey of life, we are all meant to be our own brothers keeper. A good neighbor will always give their best to help other neighbors in the time of needs. Life can be very hard on some people around you, and at the same time life can be very soft at your own end; it is not the best time to make life harder on your neighbors. Because many at times, the table can be turned, and when it mistakenly does, you might be victim of the “HARD LIFE INSTEAD OF SOFT LIFE.” Repent today!

In addition, no one knows tomorrow, and certainly, nobody can predict what is on God’s mind or what He is ability to do. If you are believers today and your neighbors can’t receive just a favour from you, you aren’t a believer but a bulldozer that has been positioned from the kingdom of darkness among the neighborhood to pull down the faith of the innocent. However, you should take note because everything we do here on earth, the rewards are waiting for us in Heaven, while some we will receive the rewards here on earth.

Finally, as believers we should not be taking any opportunity given to us for granted, particularly when we are asked to be “hospitable” towards one another. Because when we are good to our neighbors, even God Himself will be good to us in-return. But if we are being evil towards our neighbors, of course, we are not to be expecting to receive anything related to “good” from God niether. Whatever you sow will be what you will eventually reap sooner or later!

(TEXT: James 1:12)
Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.

FOCUS :

It should always be remembered that failure, despite the Grace of God, always, and without exception, carries with it its own punishment – even more in the life of the one who has been grandly touched by the Holy Spirit. Too often Christendom reads only perfection into the life and f God’s champion; however, they do so by ignoring the Word of God. The individual is never is never called by God because we meets God’s requirements. Actually, we never does. Always, we are woefully unprepared, immature, and lacking in proper faith. It is the Work of the Holy Spirit, among other things, to bring us to the place of maturity, that God desires. It does now come easily. “A great call always demand a great test.” Sooner or later, there will be failure; it is inevitable. It may not be known all the time to the general Christian public, but God knows. It is a part of the growing process. Regrettably, oftentimes one learns more from the failures than one does from the victories. The reason should be obvious. At times, faith shines brighter during failure than during victory, the reason being the pressure applied. Faith will either rise to the occasion, or else quit. True men of God may fail, but they do not quit.

In addition, despite our failure of faith, and all failure is, in some way, a failure of faith, the Lord will keep us from sinning even greater. God uses failures to teach. Regrettably, “fellow christians oftentimes use failures to destroy. Being tempted does not mean, we are being terminated from the race of faith. When we focus our attention on the race, then the Grace of God will be sufficient to carry us through. If we can endure the hardship here on earth, it is certain that we will enjoy the benefits in Heaven.

Finally, a trophy without a temptation, will not last well, because you won’t have enough strategy to maintain the trophy. Unfortunately, many believers watches their fellow believers while they fall into the pit of the devil. Nowadays, many believers are the one selling their other fellow believers into temptations and into the hands of the devil because of their selfishness and greediness.

(TEXT : James 5:18 And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit.

FOCUS :

For any believers to reach the top, and you are not ready to sacrifice in the place of prayer, you are a prey already. Because I wonder what will be your excuse of not praying, you can either prayer or you become a prey. And in another sense, you can either pray till your last breath and be in Heaven or you end up being a prey and still go straight to Hell fire. From the day one that you entered into this world, and if you are failing in the place of prayer, just know that you are doomed.

In addition, prayer is like our strength support in all our “spiritual warfare.” Prayer is very important in the lives of every single believers, because the more you give yourself to prayers, the more your strength is supplied to stay victorious in the battlefield. Even though the enemies has many strategies in which they uses to attack the believers, only by praying alone will help you to stay at the winning side of the battlefield.

Finally, as believers you can be lazy in other many spiritual ways, but without prayer, you will be “gone so soon”‘ if you are lazy in the place of prayer. You can’t reach the spiritual top places without the help of your consistent prayers. The devil has his way of chanting, the demons has their own very way of chanting too; then if you are a believer, you must also have the way in which you are also roaring in the Spirit. Otherwise, you will be gone so soon even in the realms of the spirit. And of course, as a believer, you should have the understanding that “spiritual control the physical.” Prayer does not kill, instead, it makes you grow stronger and helps you stay focused in you fulfilling your purpose here on earth. (Luke 18:1)!

(TEXT : James 4:14)
Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.

FOCUS:

Many people in their big titles and possibly in their position, believed that they “owned their lives”; therefore, with that they can do anything with it without anybody questioning them. Yes, you can be a billionaire, trillionaier or even something bigger; but that does not change the fact that you are still going to die one day. And when you die, where are preparing for yourself to spend your eternity? In hell fire or in Paradise? According to God’s design for our lives, we are meant to be giving God glory and to be worshipping Him for that which He is doing in our lives and for those things He is yet to do in lives.

In addition, many people have forgotten who they are in this world completely, and they are just wondering about like a “walking-dead person.” Yes, they accumulated monies, positions, title almost everywhere, connection, power; but unfortunately, they are not satisfied. The truth is: whatever it is that we have in this world, they are all going to remain in this world after we are gone for the generations coming after us.

Finally, let our lives be an attractiveness of God’s peace, love, joy, charity and meekness towards one another. The best meaning we can all give to our lives now is to learn to submit to the one who is the author of our lives. Because in the grave, the life you think you owned, will be lifeless and useless. The life you are placing more value and priority on now, than the original owner Himself (God), will be one day “disappointed” you. Your life is nothing, when God is not the one leading it.

(TEXT : Ecclesiastes 12:7)
Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.

FOCUS :

On the last day, there will be no amount of money, friends, influence, connection, or how long you lived for here on earth; none of these will determine your clearance into the Kingdom of God. One day every single soul here on earth will be retired from all the activities of this world and we will all returned to our original base (Heaven). However, how prepared are you? And do you have plan for Heaven or you are planing to go to hell?

Job 26:6
Hell is naked before him, and destruction hath no covering.

Matthew 16:25-26 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it. For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

In addition, the journey to Heaven required patience, humility, and holiness. If you are always in the hurry you might not be able to catch up with the Saints, and you might not be able to make it to Heaven. Because you can either be among the “Saints or you belong to the Sinners.” Heaven is prepared for the Saints, however, hell is prepared for the Sinners. Heaven is known for humility: meaning, you have to be as “meek as possible.” And of course, holiness is the lifestyle of Heaven, so, to enter there you must be HOLY.

Matthew 5:3, 5 Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.

Finally, you have to always remember this, that one day you will die; with all the money you have acquired, your positions, your titles, and your connections. But have you ever asked yourself where is going to be your final destination after all your race here on earth? The Bible had made it abundantly clear, that “dust shall return to earth and the Spirit will also return to God.” Meaning, the Sinners as (the dust) shall return to the earth, and the Saints as (Spirit) will return to back to God whether you like it or not.

Job 1:21
And said, Naked came I out of my mother’s womb, and naked shall I return thither: the LORD gave, and the LORD hath taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD.

(TEXT : James 5:13)
Is any among you afflicted? let him pray. Is any merry? let him sing psalms.

FOCUS :

If there are believers who can pray, there is a God who will always answer your prayers, because He is the only God who can do impossible things. When you pray, you can be rest assured that God has got you covered and He will do unimaginable, impossible and incredible things in your life. If you can give yourself to prayers instead of complaining like others. It is just a matter of time that God will turn all your problem into promotion and into a greater heights.

Luke 1:37 For with God nothing shall be impossible.

In addition, lots of believers preferred to be prayed for instead of praying for themselves and receive from God by themselves directly. Some believers can be so lazy in the place of prayer and they are expecting breakthrough, testimonies, signs and wonders in there lives. The pure truth is that, if a believer does not pray, he or she will automatically become a prey for the enemies that has been prepared for their downfall and ignorance.

Finally, as believers we ought to be activating our mouths from time to time; to render praises, worships, and thanksgiving unto God. Your mountains can be moved by you just rendering your quality songs of worship and praise unto God in your own very special way. I know there are many “diluted” praises and worship songs out there and which are sang or led by some “Gospel Singers.” But of course, there are still some Gospel Singers out there, who have not bow to sing for Baal nor worship its image.

Ephesians 5:19
Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;

Colossians 3:16
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

(TEXT : Exodus 14:15)
And the LORD said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward:

FOCUS :

Some mountains or situations are stubborn and won’t move until violent is been introduced. Sometimes, you have stayed and even overstayed on that spot you are right now, and that is why you need help from God and not from men or from any women. God is always watching over every of His children, and He moves them from shame to glory and from nothing to abundant.

In addition, stagnation is never a thing that God embrace or wish for any of his children. Stagnation does not bring out God’s glory, that means, God cannot benefits from shame. Jesus is the only Way that leads to victory and that Victor is going to be for those who are genuine children of God.

Finally, stagnation it’s a mountain, and it’s ready to stay if you are not making positive move to move the mountain. Sometimes, you have dwell in that position for too long and God is saying to you to move forward and go higher. God is willing to move you forward, but are you willing and ready to be moved forward? If you must move forward, you must make sure that there are no loads (i .e. money, woman, power, position and influence) attached to your progress that can easily slow you down.

(TEXT : Exodus 14:14)
The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.

FOCUS :

Many at times we do think that God has left us in the battlefield, “NO, HE HASN’T”! Yes, do we usually feel like we are alone in the battlefield, well, that can happen sometime, but the truth is, we are never alone. However, the sad thing is that many of us usually give up even before we began the fight. For us to overcome, we must stay connected with Him who is the supplier of our strength at the battlefield.

In addition, God has promised us to stay calm, because He is going to fight side-by-side with us and our victory will soon reach us if we failed not. Of course, by own strength we will be defeated even before the fight is been enact. The beauty that every genuine children of God enjoyed are because we are God’s “apple eyes and we are carrying His breath in us.” We cannot be defeated as long we are obedience to our commander in chief who double as our Lord of Host.

Finally, God promised the children of Israel Peace even in the midst of war. The Egyptian at the back of the children of Israel and the Red Sea in their front; it can only be God who can give you that kind of assurance of PEACE in the midst of battle or war confronting you. The joy of the devil is that you are not going to make it out alive in that battle or fight, you are in; but God has disappointed the devil and you have overcome. It can only be God that can ask you to stay calm in a real storm or in a real battlefield. Our Peace is sure, our Peace is guaranteed and our Peace is absolute when we stay connected to God who is able to FIGHT for us.

Mark 4:37-41 And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full. And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish? And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith? And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, What manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?

(TEXT : Psalms 31:4)
Pull me out of the net that they have laid privily for me: for thou art my strength.

FOCUS :

For any believers to be a mountain mover, you should be able to relax and relied on God’s strength all the way from the root. You can overcome any mountain when you have an inbuilt of God’s strength in you. Generally speaking, everyone of us as a believer, we need strength in our day-to-day activities to be able to overcome evey single challenges or obstacles that are working against your progress.

In addition, some times you might feel discouraged and completely seems to be disappointed in some people whom you had thought they should be “highly classified”, but unfortunately, they are not. When your strength is from God alone, you can uproot any mountain that might be confronting you. And if you are the mountain that is working against yourself, then you don’t expect the mountain to be move, and if the mountain will had to moved, then you should remember that, that mountain is you!

Finally, we all need strength at every point in time, particularly in the days of battles. Every believers must cried for strength from above, because we need it in the journey of life, in ministry, in marriage, in career, and even in our businesses. The strength of God in every believers, it is an evidence of your victory at the hot battlefield.
