(TEXT : James 1:7-8)
For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.
FOCUS :
A double minded fellow, is a double fake fellow. No matter how hard a double minded fellow tries, his or her thoughts will always catch-up with him or her and will always be their judge. Any double minded fellow won’t bother to seek direction from the “true light” but instead; in the mind of his or her, many negative thought and impossibilities are more limitation to his or her progress in the journey of life or faith. Because to receive from God, you must first of all clear your mind up from “doubt and fear.”
In addition, any one who wants to receive from God, must first of all silence the voice of “condemning or judging”even yourself. Anyone who ask anything from God must do so by FAITH; and faith without waving is what will provide you answer from the throne of Grace. If you are a believer and you’re living your life by “double standard,” you are not going to receive anything from God. If you think God is not fast enough to your “own liken” and because of that you subscribe to a wrong channel, you are already a failure as a believer.
Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
Finally, living a double life, it’s as if one living to please the agenda of the devil. Because there will be one side of you that God sees and there is another part of you that the devil have relationship with. On Sunday, in the house of God, you are like a Saint, but while unfortunately, on Monday, you can be better describe as a “terrible beast.” You are a Pastor on Sunday in the house of God, but you are a demon sucking blood in your place of work and at home. What kind of life do you think you are building for people to see you as? Or how do you expect God to relate with you? However, it’s never too late to make your way right with God, and He will show you “the right way, the truth and give you a meaningful life.”
John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
