(TEXT : 2 Timothy 3:1)
This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

FOCUS :

We are on the last days of the world already. Nations are rising against one another, parents against their own children, children against their own parents, pastors with greediness, politicians with corruptions, social media with criticism and propagandas, judge with bribe. And husbands not satisfied with their wives, wives also not comfortable with their husbands, single brothers and sisters filled with all sort of Immoralities; love for money it’s what many so called “saints” are pursuing and power and positions with all desperation is the heartbeat of so many children of God today.

2 Peter 3:3
Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,

In addition, many children of God has forgotten and forsaken their Savour and their first love; all because of the “world materialism.” If your love for Christ has grown cold, and you have no sincere intention to work on it with “fear and trembling”; then I’m sorry to tell you that you have no part in the Kingdom of God. Some are busy carrying their Cross, while some are busy reducing the Cross. However, when you get to the crossing path in Heaven perhaps, between judgement seat and Heaven, and your Cross has been shortened, who is going to save you there? Mind you, there is no carpenter in Heaven.

1 John 4:19
We love him, because he first loved us.

Revelation 1:5
And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,

Revelation 2:4
Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love.

Finally, every single day we are getting closer to the eternity, and we should be preparing to give an account of all our works (good or bad). What is the present status of the works of your hands? For every believers in all over the world, we know and we believe that Jesus is coming back, and this can be very soon than we expected. But what is the worth of your life presently? If Jesus comes today, do you think you will reign with Him in His Kingdom going by the all kinds of works in your hands? It is not too late for you to repent now, before it is too late: for who knows when the trumpet shall sound, and when the trumpet shall sound, where will you be?

Romans 12:1-2 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Matthew 24:31
And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

1 Corinthians 14:8
For if the trumpet give an uncertain sound, who shall prepare himself to the battle?

Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

FOCUS :

SALVATION isn’t by work, but it’s by His Grace and Mercy we are all “SAVED and not CONSUMED.” Many would think that their money saved them, to some they could think it is by their beauty attraction, to some perhaps they will rather think it is by the volume of friends that they keep around themselves, and while to some, they could think it by their multiple connections to the top people in the world. But the truth is, nobody is saved by his or her “works”, and that is why you cannot continue in sin and ask GRACE to multiply upon your life. It is called “God forbid”!

Romans 6:1-4 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?
Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

In addition, the Holy Spirit did lots of mighty works in the process of our redemption, sanctification regeneration, and justification. There is no salvation journey that does not have the impact and the attributes of the Holy Spirit involved. You can’t write the story of your salvation without the Holy Spirit being involved in the journey. The journey from sinful behavior and right into the saints of God, that alone takes a “spiritual excise” and that spiritual excise can only be by the help of the Holy Spirit. Without the Holy Spirit, you cannot be SAVED, and without you being SAVED, you cannot enter into the Kingdom of God.

John 16:13
Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

Ephesians 1:13
In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

Finally, the journey of entering into the Kingdom of God begins with just a boldness of confession; which will now later give the Holy Spirit the latitude to access your SOUL and lead it to where it properly belong in the eternity. Your acceptance here on earth that you are a sinner gives the Holy Spirit the large opportunity to lead you to God’s “genuine repentance”; and by this you become “GENUINELY BORN AGAIN.” So without any doubt, the whole system of “salvation” lies on you “acknowledging the work of Holy Spirit in the journey of your SALVATION.” You can’t save yourself by your own works or power, no system on earth can save you from sin; except you come to Jesus Christ through the help of the HOLY SPIRIT.

Matthew 3:11
I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:

Luke 4:18-19 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.

Acts 10:38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

(TEXT : Matthew 5:14)

Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.

FOCUS :

As many believers who believes in the “dead and the resurrection” of our Lord Jesus Christ; they are the TRUE LIGHT of this world. The world is filled with all kinds of darkness, and it’s only those who accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and personal Saviour that are going to be led by the “SPIRIT of TRUTH.” There is darkness in those who are in the politics, those who in are government, those who are in judiciary, those who are in military, and those who are religious leaders. And going by all these alone, many nations of the world are “corrupted and doomed.” So the only solution is that, in your nation, you are the LIGHT that Jesus is talking about; shine and darkness will disappear.

Romans 8:14-16 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

In addition, many people run into the house of God today to seek for the light God has given to His “children”; but unfortunately, the light has gone out from them completely. To some, it is without notice, to some it is an art of carelessness, to some, it is for an exchange of money, while to some, it is a transition from one power to another (balancing the weight of light and darkness). Some of have traded their little light for position, some for prostitution, some for adultery, some for fornication, and some for Immoralities while some are known for abominations things. The light is still there, but you have to act very fast to switch it back on before it will be too late to do so.

Revelation 2:5
Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.

Revelation 2:16
Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth.

Revelation 3:11
Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.

Finally, we as a light in the end time like this, symbolizes one meaning and for one purpose: and that is, we are the “DIRECTIONS” for the for the whole world. Meaning, if our light stayed on, the sinners will come to repentance, corruptions system will receive correction and of course, the true Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ will be published throughout the whole world. If you call yourself a light, and the only time you can ever shine this light of yours it is when money is involved or sex opposite has been made available to satisfy you in a “sexually way” before any opportunity or appointment can come from you; then you are no longer a light but a servant of Lilith.

Acts 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

2 Corinthians 11:13-15 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

(TEXT : 2 Corinthians 10:5)
Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

FOCUS :

There are many false prophets, false teachers, false preachers and many false doctrines from the people who claims that they know the Bible are deliberately out there to pollute the minds, spirits, knowledge, understanding and wisdom of the innocent people. And all these are deliberate, because many “false people” had made up their minds to cut off many “innocent souls” from the book of salvation. There are many wrong imagination that so many people are carrying all about and some might eventually died with this. It is not a bad thing for a normal person to imagine things, but what is the contents of your imagination?

1 Corinthians 10:11-13 Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come. Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall. There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

In addition, we are in the age where oppression is collaborating with depression. Some people believe that they are who they are without God’s intervention, and forgetting that without God on our sides, we are absolutely nothing. The knowledge you have to create, to innovate, to demonstrate, to invent, and to build; they are all from God only. We are all in this world by the help of God and by the power of the knowledge that God has impacted and input in us.

1 Corinthians 15:10-11 But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me. Therefore whether it were I or they, so we preach, and so ye believed.

Finally, there are many thoughts flying around in our minds, some might be good while some are completely bad. However, any thought that does not glorified God, such thought belong to the devil. One of the easiest way to be surrounded by “good thought” is for you to walk in the obedience of God. The world has the records of those who obeys its rules, likewise, God is faithful and just to those who are obedience to His calls. The imagination of the things in this world, will only lead one to disobedience unto God.

Daniel 4:30-34 The king spake, and said, Is not this great Babylon, that I have built for the house of the kingdom by the might of my power, and for the honour of my majesty? While the word was in the king’s mouth, there fell a voice from heaven, saying, O king Nebuchadnezzar, to thee it is spoken; The kingdom is departed from thee. And they shall drive thee from men, and thy dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field: they shall make thee to eat grass as oxen, and seven times shall pass over thee, until thou know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will. The same hour was the thing fulfilled upon Nebuchadnezzar: and he was driven from men, and did eat grass as oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven, till his hairs were grown like eagles feathers, and his nails like birds’ claws. And at the end of the days I Nebuchadnezzar lifted up mine eyes unto heaven, and mine understanding returned unto me, and I blessed the most High, and I praised and honoured him that liveth for ever, whose dominion is an everlasting dominion, and his kingdom is from generation to generation:

(TEXT : Revelation 2:10)
Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.

FOCUS :

The journey to the eternal life, it is a journey that God has designed for His children long before the creations. On the last day in the dwelling place of God and in His presence, judgement will be passed to everyone according to the works of our hands and crown will be given to as many as our rewards for our labour after the journey here on earth. To earn a prize you must work for it, likewise, for you to receive the crown of life, you must work to earn it, because it is not for free.

2 Corinthians 4:8-12 We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed; Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body. For we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus’ sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh. So then death worketh in us, but life in you.

In addition, to earn the crown of life on the last day, you must follow this simple steps: firstly, give your life to Jesus Christ and work on your salvation daily. There is a crown of life waiting for you on the last day in the presence of God because you are “GENUINELY BORN AGAIN.” But being saved today does not guaranty you that you are saved forever. Which is why, you must never stop working on yourself daily so that no anger, unforgivness, grudges, malice, gossiping, mediocrity, variance, backbiting, backstabbing, rebellion, disobedience fornication, adultery, masturbation, lesbianism, homosexuality, bestiality or others: will be able to steal, kill, and destroy your salvation before the final judgment day.

John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

Philippians 2:12
Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

Finally, secondly, preaching the Gospel. The crown is not only for those who are SAVED, it’s also for those who are preaching the gospel throughout the whole world even when things are tough or rough for them. Preaching the Gospel does not come with an easy task, but rather it comes with prize. Such as devoting your time, your resources, your willingness of heart doing, and your passion towards the LOST SOULS. And it’s that prize that will present to you on the last day a reward of “CROWN.” The more souls you win into the Kingdom of God, the more beautiful your crowns are going to be. What about those who does not win souls for the Kingdom of God? It is simple, no crown for you on this regard. As many that gets saved through your “sacrifice preaching,” will determines the numbers of your crowns on the day of final judgment.

2 Timothy 4:5-8 But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry. For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

James 1:12
Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.

(TEXT : Psalms 84:11)
For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.

FOCUS :

When we walk with God rightly, our relationship becomes tightly and our vision about God becomes brightly. The Holy Spirit is saying according to the above scripture: that when we walk with God with the whole of our heart, soul, mind and spirit; God will not withhold “anything good from us.” There are many good things that God will always want to show and share with His own people. However, if His people are not “walking uprightly” with Him, they are to forget about the “GOOD THINGS from God.” God will walk all the way with those who chooses to walk with Him with total surrender.

Proverbs 13:20
He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed.

Isaiah 43:2
When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.

In addition, it is not everybody in the house of God that are walking with God. And that is cleared enough to know that such who are not walking with God, should not expect “good things” from God. Many people started well by walking with God, but unfortunately, in the process they backside and they missed all the goods that God have in stored for them. Some times to keep the balance of walking with God, it can be very tough. I mean, you can imagine waking up in the middle of the night every day to pray, fast continuously, get close to the Word of God daily, giving to the poor, sacrificing to pray for the nations and all your leaders above you; and still manage to maintain your “personal fellowship with God.” Walking with God, it is not for the lazy ones.

Proverbs 13:4
The soul of the sluggard desireth, and hath nothing: but the soul of the diligent shall be made fat.

Proverbs 20:4
The sluggard will not plow by reason of the cold; therefore shall he beg in harvest, and have nothing.

Finally, some are walking with God, but sadly, God is not walking with them. And that is why God is very much concerned about you walking out your “own Salvation” with fear and trembling. Because without your Salvation, you can’t walk with God and if you can’t walk with God, then you can’t please God. Faith helps every believers to walk with God and to receive their reward afterwards, which is the “GOOD THINGS.” If you want to receive good thing from the Lord, be obedient to the Lord.

Philippians 2:12

(TEXT : 1 Corinthians 9:24)
Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain.

FOCUS :

There is always is a prize for every Race and for every Grace you carry. When you run in a race, you can either be at the first position, second, third, or become a loser in the race. Likewise, Grace covers everyone that are identified with our Lord Jesus Christ through genuine Salvation, but GRACE expired as well if you misused the opportunity. Whenever you are running in a race, you know exactly what you are running for; and whenever Grace is at work in your life, your labour and struggling becomes freedom.

In addition, the race to the tope is not always easy, likewise, the call for the Grace upon a genuine child of God is not a joke. It is not in all the calling you will see burning bush (Moses), Angel (Gideon); but for Nehemiah there was neither “burning bush nor Angel sent to him. However, Nehemiah was carried and sustained in the presence of God through the Grace of God that helped fasted for four months (4 mouths) without any compromise. When you see people under the Grace of God, they do things voluntarily in an extraordinary ways. Nehemiah was not fasting for Ferrari, Lamborghini, Limousin, private jet, and not even a mansion; but he was busy, fasting and praying for God’s people.

Nehemiah 1:4-6 And it came to pass, when I heard these words, that I sat down and wept, and mourned certain days, and fasted, and prayed before the God of heaven, And said, I beseech thee, O LORD God of heaven, the great and terrible God, that keepeth covenant and mercy for them that love him and observe his commandments: Let thine ear now be attentive, and thine eyes open, that thou mayest hear the prayer of thy servant, which I pray before thee now, day and night, for the children of Israel thy servants, and confess the sins of the children of Israel, which we have sinned against thee: both I and my father’s house have sinned.

Finally, when you are under the Grace of God, maintain this opportunity before it is too late for you. If you are asking for the Grace of God upon your life, for what purpose are you seeking? What you are seeking for will determine what you will get or what you will see. If it’s race, you will run to earned the trophy, and if it’s Grace you will need to obtain it through the “MERCY SEAT OF GOD.” Grace is not by “hardworking”, it is of God who shows MERCY.

Ecclesiastes 9:11
I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all.

Romans 9:10-16 And not only this; but when Rebecca also had conceived by one, even by our father Isaac; (For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth;) It was said unto her, The elder shall serve the younger. As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated. What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? God forbid. For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.

Romans 12:3
For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

(TEXT : 1 Corinthians 9:16)
For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel!

FOCUS :

Every saved men and women on earth are expected not to ceased from preaching the Gospel until we breath our last breaths. Preaching the Gospel it’s not “by willing, it’s by doing.” A lot of people gave their lives to Jesus Christ because of the healing, breakthroughs, marriage, children, jobless, miracles, signs and wonders etc. that they will gain after Salvation. And immediately they gets their own portion of needs, they disappear. Preaching the Gospel is one of the rule that our Lord Jesus Christ laid down as a symbol of building the kingdom of God in the lives of all the unsaved ones.

Matthew 28:18-20 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

In addition, many souls are still out there yet to be reached and yet to hear about Jesus. We that we are SAVED, we can’t just assumed that “all human beings” had hear about Jesus; meanwhile, they haven’t even know Him. And how can they be saved when they have not known Him? And how can they know Jesus if there is none among the SAVED ones, who will volunteer to show them? Preaching the Gospel it’s a huge sacrifice that every SAVED ones most get involved in the business. Yes, you have your personal business that is fetching you incomes, but you have to set aside time or resources for the kingdom of God’s business; and which is “WINNING MORE SOULS” into the kingdom of God.

Romans 10:13-15 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!

Finally, the work of evangelism is for everybody and nobody is exempted from going out to carry out this assignment. Even if you just got saved today, you can take up this responsibility upon yourself; by sharing the testimony of your Salvation with all the members of your family and your household. Stop wasting time, for there is no time any more; souls are perishing daily and hell and destruction are opening their mouth wide daily to receive those who died without been told about “HOW JESUS LOVED THEM.” Just imagine yourself been a church man or woman here on earth and everybody seems to recognize you whenever you walk in; but have you ever thought about it a moment that when you die, what or who will you be recognized as in heaven? It is about time you change your thinking perspective towards your “church GOING and your heavenly RACE.”

Proverbs 27:20
Hell and destruction are never full; so the eyes of man are never satisfied.

For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth:

FOCUS :

Sometimes all you have to do in other for you to stay connected with the Grace is for you to keep Believing and have Faith in the Lord. The journey most likely gets rough and many obstacles on the journey, but you have to keep confessing your “Believe and Faith.” When Job came in contact with his biggest challenge in the journey of life, he never thought that would happen to him in such a way, however, he learned to embrace that challenge and never questioned God.

In addition, I’m very much sure that in the house of God today, there are some believers who won’t even get to the half of what Job went through, before denying their Faith. In the journey of life, when the battle gets hotter than you can control, may the Lord of Host come through for you in Jesus mighty name. The truth is, anointing or no anointing, when you get to the battlefield your “believe and Faith” will be tested before you can be able to testified.

James 1:12
Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.

Finally, every of our Cross that we are asked to carry daily in the journey of FAITH, none is easy to carry; and that is why we need the “devine strength” from above to be able to bear the weight on our shoulder. However, at the end of enduring the pain, humiliation, suffering, afflictions, rejection; Jesus promised to take away our burden and yokes upon Himself provided we believe in Him and we can endure till the very end for us to be saved and receive the crown of life.

Matthew 11:28-30 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

Revelation 2:10
Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.

And the woman took the two men, and hid them, and said thus, There came men unto me, but I wist not whence they were:

FOCUS :

We know that from this that Rahab lied. The sacred historian simply narrates the fact, and makes no comment whatever upon it. The roofs if houses, then as now, were flat in those regions. She hide the men on the roof under stalks of flax. The germ of Faith that was already stirring in her heart, and it was Faith that would be amply rewarded. We must not judge Rahab, for all of this was shortly before her conversion. To be sure, we must not judge Rahab at all.

(Joshua 2:11) And as soon as we had heard these things, our hearts did melt, neither did there remain any more courage in any man, because of you: for the LORD your God, he is God in heaven above, and in earth beneath.

The declaration of Rahab bearing in mind the circumstances of the person who uttered it, is as remarkable as Peter’s, “you are the Christ, the Son of the Living God” Matthew 16:16-17. Upon the utterance of this statement of Faith, Rahab was saved.

In addition, Joshua 2:12 Now therefore, I pray you, swear unto me by the LORD, since I have shewed you kindness, that ye will also shew kindness unto my father’s house, and give me a true token:

Rehab was a debauched member of a doomed race. Yet Grace saved her. She based her please for Salvation upon the fact that she was justly ordained by God to destruction. Many people refuse to bestir themselves in the matter of personal Salvation because of the belief that if they are ordained to the be saved, they will be saved, and if they are ordained to be lost, they will be lost; however, all sinners are justly ordained to be lost (Romans 5:12) and, therefore, all sinners may be saved. “Rahab prefaced her please for Salvation by declaring that she knew all were doomed to destruction, and because of this Divine judgement, she asked for a true token that would assure her of her safety in the Day of Wrath that was coming.”

Finally, (Joshua 2:19-20) And it shall be, that whosoever shall go out of the doors of thy house into the street, his blood shall be upon his head, and we will be guiltless: and whosoever shall be with thee in the house, his blood shall be on our head, if any hand be upon him. And if thou utter this our business, then we will be quit of thine oath which thou hast made us to swear.

The assurance of Salvation to Rahab was not built upon an inward experience, but rather upon an outward evidence that is, the scarlet line. In it was perfection; in herself inspection. Looking upon that “true token” and believing the testimony respecting it, she was assured of deliverance in the Day of Doom that was coming. Thus, the outward token gave an inward peace. The believer in Jesus enjoys a similar peace. It was vain for Rahab to seek for Salvation upon the ground of personal worthiness; for she was vile indeed. It is equally vain for the most moral to claim Salvation today, for all have sinned, none are righteous, and all are under sentence of death. The condition was that the red cord would hang from the window, and that all must stay in the house where the window was. To leave the house would leave its protection. Safety was guaranteed for all who remained in the house, destruction for all who left the house. It is the same with the Blood of Jesus Christ, which the scarlet thread represented. As long as we remain in the house of safety provided by the Blood, we are safe. To leave this house of safety, which is Faith in Christ and Him Crucified, guarantees destruction.
