(TEXT : Isaiah 8:18)
Behold, I and the children whom the LORD hath given me are for signs and for wonders in Israel from the LORD of hosts, which dwelleth in mount Zion.
FOCUS :
Every children God gives to His people, they are not an ordinary children but they are supernatural children from God Himself. So, that is why, as a parent we need to be mindful how we are using our words when we are communicating with our children. Because how you communicate with them, will be what they will become later in the future even when you are around them. Our children are for signs and for wonders; that tells us something quickly as parents that we are the “MAP” they will follow till they have found the PATH OF RIGHTEOUS.
Proverbs 22:28 Remove not the ancient landmark, which thy fathers have set.
In addition, from the womb, every single children from (God); are already been ordered by God for signs and for wonders. Of course, some people receive their own children from the god of the sea, god of thunder, god of iron; etc. unfortunately, all of these children mentioned under this category, will only be controlled and influenced by the demons associated with these gods aforementioned. And it is a beautiful thing to know that, it is not only your children that are marked for “signs and wonders” according to our memory verse for today: instead, you are inclusive.
Finally, the Joy of the Almighty God is to see the whole world increasing with “signs and wonders”; and to achieve this, He knew He had to create more (souls) after in His own likeness. God did not made you by accident nor did made by mistake; God created you so that you can as well become creative. So, from this moment onward, stop seeing yourself as incompetent, fruitless, failure, barrenness, hopeless, and stop accommodating evil thoughts in yourself; only stay focused on whom God says you are.
Genesis 1:26-28 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
