(TEXT : James 4:17)
Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.
FOCUS :
God knows the heart of the good doers, and He will reward him or her with good and with good deeds. As a believer when you see what is wrong, it is your responsibility to speak out. And such speaking out is for reprove, corrections and for directions. Every believers knows the right thing to do at every situation, but unfortunately, some believers knows the truth but they rather follow the pathway of lies. And of course, if you are a believer and you settled for lies, that means, you are a child of your father (the devil). There is absolutely nothing pleasing to God then you saying the truth and you doing the right thing.
John 3:20
For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
2 Timothy 4:2
Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.
In addition, sometimes the truth can be bitter and not prepared for hearing. However, one thing is certain, as believers, we are known to be good and not to be evil. As believers, we should never allow “bribery” to lead us into selling of our birthrights to lies; through sinning or corruptions. No matter what, every believers should give ourselves to TRUTH and do GOOD always.
John 8:44
Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
Finally, we are in the time where you “say the truth that you become a sinner and a sinner is been worshipped as a saint.” Beloved, children of God, we know that which is true, let keep doing it for the Lord is watching from above. When you see black for instance, call it black, when you see white, be bold to confess the color white; and when you see red, don’t hesitate to tell the truth that it is red that you saw. If you know what is good and you calls it evil, or you know what is evil and you preferred to refers to the case as “good”; you are not a believer but an hypocrite fellow.
