(TEXT : 1 Corinthians 15:45)
And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.
FOCUS :
Yesterday, we spoke about the suffering of our Lord Jesus Christ. At the time of the first Adam, sin dominate the whole world, and every sin ever committed are punishable in the sight of God. However, through the second Adam (Jesus), all the afflictions of the sin were laid upon Him to carry and nailed them all on the Cross. Jesus suffered the sin He never committed and He was punished for every single bit pains that follows the sin. You are now sin free, because someone had to take the pains that the sin had caused and made you presentable before God as without sin. The first Adam has no power to control sin and accept sin to dominate him, but the second Adam does rule over sin; because He laid down His life as a sacrifice.
John 15:13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
In addition, Jesus suffering led Him to death. So, you could see the picture that not only did Jesus rule over sin, He banished sin by allowing Himself to die publicly on the Cross. Again, He did not do all that publicly to showoff, but He did all that to show us the path of righteousness. The Bible says: “every unrighteousness, it is a sin”; meaning, if you are still allowing sin to rule over you, you are not righteous and you belong to the race of the first Adam. Not that there is no sin presently in the world, in fact, the whole world grows in new sin every blessed day. But Christ in us, we can as rule over sin.
Romans 6:11
Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Romans 8:10
And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
Ephesians 2:5
Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
Philippians 2:8
And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
Finally, we are still talking about the death of Jesus Christ. His death was not to play planks or freestyle; He died for you and I to be Saved. In heaven, the death of our Lord Jesus Christ, was a huge sacrifice for the sins of the mankind. He never sin and never had to die for you and for my sins; but He did it anyway because it is only by His death that we can all have our “REDEMPTION.” If Jesus Christ didn’t die, there I won’t be anything called REDEMPTION.
Colossians 3:3
For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.
Revelation 1:5
And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,
Revelation 22:17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.
This present the cry of the Holy Spirit to a hunting, lost, and dying world. What the Holy Spirit says should also be said by all Believers. One can “hear,” then one can “come.” And speaking of spiritual thirst, the cry for God in the soul of man. The “water of life”: opens the door to every single individual in the world; Jesus died for all and, therefore, all can be Saved, if they will only come.
BE SAFE AND GET SAVED!
God bless you richly!
Jesus Christ loves you
Thank you Holy Spirit
ARE YOU SAVED?
