(TEXT : Ephesians 3:8)
Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ;
FOCUS :
Christ has redeemed us from the power of sin and gave us dominion over the forces of darkness that might want to stand on our way of spreading the gospel. It is a privilege that you are among the elect; that has been chosen long before the foundation of the world. That a time and season is coming that the gospel will be preached through you, that through you, the “unreached will be reached and unsaved will be redeemed.” The passion of winning more souls into the kingdom of God wasn’t just given to you overnight; you are given because you have been commissioned for the assignment even long before you are born. Mind you, you cannot save a single soul on your own. Meaning, “you can only convince but the Holy Spirit carry out the work of conversion.”
Luke 10:18-20 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven. Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.
In addition, why are you still finding it so difficult to preach the gospel even to your friends at the office, your friends at school, or maybe your neighbors? You have been going to the church to see Jesus perhaps, every single service since you got born again; but it has always been only you appearing before Jesus on every of those services, nobody else. Don’t you think that Jesus Himself would have probably been asking you where are the SOULS you are SAVED because of them to be SAVED as well? Why is it that you are not coming along with any of these people? Are you really sure you are genuinely born again? If you buy a particular cloth or shoe, and you have been wearing them over and over; ain’t you gonna get tired of them? Jesus is saying, I’m tired of seeing only you coming to see Me. He wants to be seeing SOULS coming to repentance through your preaching to them and teaching them about the things of the kingdom of God.
Matthew 28:18-20 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
Finally, Jesus’ instructions to those who are “genuinely saved” is to be going to villages, as He did; to the cities, as He did; to the towns, as He did; to communities, as He did; in our societies, as He did; to States, as He did; to countries, as He did; to all the nations on the earth, as He did; and preach genuine repentance in all our synagogue: even as Jesus commanded, and which are what He Himself practiced before His departure to heaven. Jesus has given all believers an assignment, and that assignment it is all about “SOUL WINNING.” How active are you in doing this assignment?
Acts 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
