(TEXT : Acts 1:9-11)
And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.
FOCUS :
It has been a wonderful time since the beginning of this series, and today, I will be concluding on this series. Yesterday, we spoke about Jesus’ resurrection and the importance of this resurrection. The ground was unable to hold Jesus down, and this same law is applicable to us in this present world as true believers. If Jesus has not died and resurrected, our gospel will be meaningless and with no impact. But we have the promise, we held on to the promise and we are now the living proof of God’s promise. Because Jesus has been risen from the dead, our FAITH grows daily and we are alive in Him and not dead.
1 Corinthians 15:17-22 And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins. Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished. If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable. But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept. For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
In addition, today, we want to talk about His “COMING BACK.” Of course, I know you would have heard it many times that Jesus is coming back to this world again. The question is: who are the people He is coming to take with Him? Unfortunately, Jesus is not coming back for the sinners, because He had already came for the sinners and died for the sinners. The truth is: Jesus is only coming for the SAINTS and to judge the world. My next question will be: are you among the saint that He is coming to take with Him, or you are still among the sinners He will judge? So, if you think you can continue in sin, so that when Jesus comes then you will be thinking of repent; you must be joking, because by then it would have been too late for you.
Revelation 3:2-3 Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God.
Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.
Finally, who are the people Jesus is coming back for? Are you among those who are prepared, He is coming back for the elects, He is coming back for those who are busy soul winners, He is coming back for those who are kingdom builders, He is coming back for those who are peacemakers, He is coming back for those who have been giving sacrificially. You see, no matter how wealthy you might be, your wealth or prosperity they are for earthly riches, and useless when you get to heaven. Keep doing your best for the lord Jesus while you’re still here earth, because nobody knows when He is coming back. Even He Himself, does not know when He is coming.

But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
Matthew 24:42
Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.
Matthew 25:13
Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.
