(TEXT : Romans 6:4)
Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
FOCUS:
Yesterday, we spoke about the DEATH of our Lord Jesus Christ on the Cross, because of you and I. I made a statement yesterday in my write up, and that is: “if Jesus did not die on the Cross, there won’t be anything called REDEMPTION.” And that’s the absolute truth! You and I, have the value of God’s “NEW LIFE” simply because redemption has finally come to us by the sacrifice of Jesus’ death on the Cross. However, the death brings redemption, and redemption leads us to SALVATION. And to receive genuine salvation, you have to earned the genuine salvation; and you must “work it out with fear and trembling.” And that tell’s us that, we also need to die daily in Christ.
Philippians 2:12
Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
In addition, all the process of salvation are free, but Someone paid dearly with His life on the Cross. So, in another way of saying it, it is not free! Because a life of a Man was given as a SACRIFICE in the process. This life was not a life of a chicken, goat, sheep, lamb, cow, or any kinds of animals; but this is purely “A MAN’S LIFE” that makes the atonement for you and I. SALVATION is given to mankind and not animals, and if you value it then you will be SAVED. SALVATION it’s not a religion kind of thing! It is a “PERSONAL SACRIFICE”, that a person or group of people must receive to reconciliate themselves back to the fellowship that was once stolen from mankind in the Garden of Eden.
Romans 10:10
For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Hebrews 9:28
So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.
Finally, today, let talk about His RESURRECTION. Just in some few days ago, Jesus rose from the dead and He rolled the stone away from the tomb where His body was laid. Meaning, SALVATION does not die! Instead, He multiplied Himself from one nation to another, from one country to another, from one state to another, from one town to another, from one village to another, from tribe to another, from one community to another, from one city to another, from one region to another and from one person to the GLOBE. For salvation to multiply Himself, the sacrifice has to be made. One single corn goes into the ground, quintuple will germinate from the same ground through the same one seed of corn. That is the true history of RESURRECTION! Jesus came from heaven, lived three and half years with us on earth and went to the ground and fought for you and I, so that through this act, we will be able to live with Him in heaven forever
John 12:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.
Romans 8:11
But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
Romans 14:9
For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living.
