THE FOUR LEPERS MOVED MOUNTAIN WITH FAITH (PART 2)!

(TEXT : 2 Kings 7:4)
If we say, We will enter into the city, then the famine is in the city, and we shall die there: and if we sit still here, we die also. Now therefore come, and let us fall unto the host of the Syrians: if they save us alive, we shall live; and if they kill us, we shall but die.

FOCUS:

When we talk about Faith, we are talking about “you might not see the way out of your trouble, but you still believe that there will be way.” Don’t allow the circumstances around your life determine your next move; whatever you are going through now is preparing you for your next level. Here is the first thing the four lepers says: “If we say, We will enter into the city, then the famine is in the city.” The situation of the land was very terrible even for the entire children of Israel, but The four lepers made up their mind even in this toughest situation of the land. Tough times often comes to those who have been prepared for a greater height. And of course, God can use anybody and anything to bring solution to a problem when you have faith in Him.

In addition, here is the second thing the four lepers says: “and we shall die there: and if we sit still here, we die also.” The word “we die” means, “we have faith.” We need to get to that level in our lives that, we are not afraid of death because we are already “dead to the things of this world.” The three Hebrew boys were found in this kind of situation, when they were brought before the king. When the king told them to bow to the image he has raised, and failure to bow to worship the image; the king had already made up his mind to throw the three of them into the fire. Unfortunately, little did the king know that, the three Hebrew boys “are already dead to the things of this world and alive with God.” The four lepers put their lives in their hands by allowing Faith to move them forward, even though they couldn’t see how terrible the danger ahead could be. The three Hebrew boys said something very profaned and which later made the three boys to end up coming four in number in the fire.

Daniel 3:16-19, 24-25 Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, answered and said to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we are not careful to answer thee in this matter. If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king. But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up. Then was Nebuchadnezzar full of fury, and the form of his visage was changed against Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego: therefore he spake, and commanded that they should heat the furnace one seven times more than it was wont to be heated. Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonied, and rose up in haste, and spake, and said unto his counsellors, Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? They answered and said unto the king, True, O king. He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.

Finally, here is the third thing the four lepers says: “Now therefore come, and let us fall unto the host of the Syrians: if they save us alive, we shall live; and if they kill us, we shall but die.” In other words, we have nothing to lose, because we are already dead as far as we are concerned; but people around us can’t just see us that way. You can’t kill a man that is already dead, you only just need to bury him. Part of the works of Faith is to make you dead completely to the things of this world and you will automatically become alive with God in the Spirit through FAITH. You don’t fear death, because death cannot kill he which is already dead. Yes, of course, you are dead to the things of this world, but you should know that only Faith can keep you alive even while you are still living in this world. The world has many opportunities, it has for the people who are alive living in it (those who are after the works of the flesh, lust of the eyes and pride of life). And the world also have many opportunities for those who are dead to the world, living in the world, but walking with God in a “supernatural way through their FAITH in God.”
