(TEXT : 2 Kings 7:5)
And they rose up in the twilight, to go unto the camp of the Syrians: and when they were come to the uttermost part of the camp of Syria, behold, there was no man there.
FOCUS :
Some believers has been on a spot for so long, and they have accepted this as a part of their journey in Faith. You have been on that spot for too long, you have to make a decision to move forward. The joy of the enemies concerning you is to be afraid and never to make any attempt of moving forward. And God hates when His children are stagnant, because there is no way you can make a progress both spiritual and physical. For any believer to activate his or her faith, you must make up your mind to “rise and move.” The four lepers never thought that they will survived in entering the camp of the enemy; but they took the bold steps of faith and they never regret taking that steps of faith.
In addition, the victory of the four lepers was like that of the children of Israel when they are trying to cross the Red Sea. The red sea was the first biggest challenge the children of Israel faced immediately they left the land of Egypt. Sometimes, as believers our red sea might come suddenly than our expectations; but one way or the other, there is always a way ahead of any of our “Red Sea” and for every believers to cross. However, no believer can cross the Red Sea ahead of him or her without the help of God and without the rod of Moses that is pointing out direction of our way out. For the four lepers to make this decision, they already knew that where they were it is like a “seashore of the Red Sea” and the Egyptians are coming behind to meet them there; that is why they knew they just had to (move forward)!
Exodus 14:13-16 And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever. The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace. And the LORD said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me?speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward: But lift thou up thy rod, and stretch out thine hand over the sea, and divide it: and the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea.
Finally, every single souls on the face of the earth, are born with one challenges or the other and we all born needs; but God has positioned every single perfect way out that must be easy to followed. Instead of you to rise and move forward, if all you do is to keep complaining, doubting or being afraid of taking step forward, you might be liquidated, expired and eventually wasted. But if you take bold step forward, God will then back it up with power and solution.
